In the event of icing or any measurable amount of snow, appropriate treatment of the roads will be undertaken to make the roads passable for automobiles entering or leaving the community.

In the event of snow in excess of 1-2 inches, snow removal operations will commence (often in the early morning pre-dawn hours).

First priority is accorded to clearing the streets for vehicular travel.
Second priority is given to driveways and the mailboxes.
Third priority is given to sidewalks, front paths and stoops.

In all but the heaviest of snows, the removal is completed in 4-6 hours.

To assist in effective and efficient snow removal, residents are urged to get their vehicles off the street, and preferably into garages or at least driveways. Such cooperation eases snow removal and safe, accident free movement of vehicles in the aftermath.
